Robyn Randolph: Hi Carla, I woke up today with a clear next coaching step for you. I want to encourage you not to be so worried or overfocused on every ingredient or if it will impede your rapid weight loss. My sense is this is all the patterns of thinking and way of being from how you have done dieting and losing weight from before. The real focus for you is about changing the picture of who you are with yourself and focusing on loving and nourishing yourself well. The weight watcher method of counting calories or looking at ingredients for what makes fast weight loss does not work in the long term. So everytime from now on that you have a thought like that about food I want you to notice that and just recognize it. Then immediately shift over to reading your intention statement and focus on where you want to go. Those are your main action steps. In this case we do not want you tackeling your weight as a math problem. We will be teaching you a WHOLE NEW way to have a relationship with food. Just keep following our instruction one step at a time and down the road we will sort our your everyday meals much better. For now you are getting prepped simly to run the 21 days. Trust the process as it unfolds and relax about the food as it is not as restrictive as you might think. Just stick to our shopping list for your 21 days and you will do great and I am right here to help you plan those meals.
Carla: Agree. Very insightful. Yes, I “thrived” on very rigid, legalistic programs – where every ounce was spelled out and I just had to follow it perfectly for success. There was a huge element of fear that if I deviated a smidgen from the plan I would fail.…Intuitive eating seems kinder and gentler, but requires a leap of faith that it will work – learning to trust that my own good choices can bring success without relying on a diet designed for the everyone. The little doubt gremlin whispers in my ear “but what if it doesn’t work?”
Robyn Randolph: So when the thought comes “but what if if doesn’t work” first acknowledge the presence of the doubter and just name it what it is. “doubting thought” Then listen to and speak the truth and journal the truth. To the doubter I want to say… this is unlike anything you have done before. This is not about a diet (thank God) this is about having a transformed relationship with food. And the journey has begun and is in process as we write right now. This is a fresh new day!
Carla:I love that – that it’s a new thing, (and I don’t even know what I don’t know, that it’s possible to have a transformed relationship with food, rooted in freedom, not bondage) .
Robyn Randolph:Keep focusing on the excitement of the possibility and when the fear thoughts come just notice them and give them a name. “Fear thought” and then get back to your real Pure Healthy Way business. Take each thought captive.
This is a journey about learning to trust yourself to make wise choices and to nourish yourself well. Perhaps you were not taught or modeled that. It is doubtful your mom with 6 kids had much time to model, loving and nourishing herself well. So you need to learn how to do that and that is what we are teaching you.
Carla:I will have more confidence when I see that it’s working (a doubting Thomas!).
Robyn Randolph:You are doing great and your willingness to see and learn and disover is lovely. Spot on! And you need to walk the course and have your own experience. It is one thing to read Pam’s testimony or Robin’s and see it is possible. That helps to create hopefullness that it is possible. But that is just the very first glimmer. In order to even do this course and even get on the track the prerequisite is to REALLY REALLY want your desired outcome. I mean really really want it. But wanting to lose weight or get healthy is not enough. If it were, you would already be there. Now you have to have your own experience of walking from where you are to where you want to go. You have to walk with your eyes open and take in all the new sights and sounds along the way, so each new thought and action step can be fully integrated in three dimensional form. As you progress along the course each step gets rooted in your own thinking, awareness and body and then lived out one bite at a time.

Pam Tuosto: Hi All! Just wanting to check in. Great news! I’m speeding along without my training wheels! I attended another reception yesterday and chose to eat after so that I wouldn’t be tempted to eat poor choices for my body. It’s getting easier for me to make these “conscious” choices without a struggle at all! I plain & simply have fallen in love with feeling good.! Good vs Lousy?! No contest! I’m now down 10 lbs.! ( Just a plus to feeling absolutely wonderful)! I pray you are all doing great! 🙏😘
